Ingredients:
2 ⅓ cups mashed overripe bananas
½ cup butter
¾ cup brown sugar (you can lessen this if you find this a bit sweet)
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (185 g)
½ cup mini chocolate chips (optional but my kids love this so for me it is a must)
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
Step 2
In a bowl, add the bananas and mash until smooth. Add in the melted butter and stir until well combined.
Step 3
Add the sugar, egg, vanilla, baking soda, salt, and flour, and stir until the batter is smooth.
Step 4
Add in the chocolate chips and pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Top with additional chocolate chips.
Step 5
Bake for 50 minutes to an hour, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 6
Cool completely before serving.
